I am using adjustable height front seatbelts out of a 90s Tahoe. Works great.
I mounted them right behind the pillar so you don't see the sliding head piece from the window.
Seat is Astro van 3rd row w GM seatbelt receivers attached. Middle seatbelt is lap-belt only.
