Yea, I may use the brackets not sure yet, those notches may be why they used 5/16. I plan to get the thing hanging on the front end then study it a bit to decide on mounting and my bumper design. I'm very happy with the winch(Thanks by the way!)

I just ordered a compact solenoid and controller from Pierce. Pierce answers the phone and have good people to talk too!
