As mentioned in my other post, the replacement clips don't fit the molding channel correctly, are heavier gauge wire, too long and too hard to push in the hole. I also tried tweaking and trimming the clips with needle nose pliers making the base wider and the nose of the clip a little narrower. Pain in the rear, but I guess I'll tweak all of them and install the trim over the weekend.
