About this much cutting. 72 GMC Jimmy 454 big block, pro comp aluminum heads (taller than cast) and tall valve covers for roller rockers and hei distributor. We were unaware of big block motor mounts when we did this. I'm putting a 454 in my 68 p/u with cast heads and shorter valvecovers but i dont know yet if it will fit much better.
