I've never used Chroma Premiere, so wasn't aware that
it requires activator. I was referring to Chromabase, robin58.

Yes, I've done that myself, 'cause the color (Nissan Imperial Orange) I was using was only available in Standox by my supplier (nice stuff, BTW).
