AJCK87 I will be using seats that were fixed into the suburban with tracks but I will be converting them to the post and plate style mounts in the panel. I picked up some 3/8-16 by 1 3/4” elevator bolts and they will not fit the plate, forgot to bring it with me as a reference. Any specifics would help.

Hi Andy; here are some specifics; It's a 5/16 -18 carriage bolt. The head needs be an inch to just fit in and then slide back. Lowe's did not have any with a 1" head in the 5/16" size so here's what I did....wingnut could be bigger to help out on the tightening process. Don't forget about that top spacer.
