If it lost a line I would check all the rubber hoses and replace them if them don't look new. I have started using the nickel copper brake lines and they are easy to work with. Pull the line that failed and use it for a pattern and you can get various lengths your local parts stores. It may take a little creativity in mixing and matching lengths some times but not a bad job at all. You can also buy it in coils to make up custom lengths but will need a flair tool.
