Yes the SPID says 551 which would be gold
This is what color I think it is underneath even though it looks a little greener to me
I found a pic of this truck which they're calling gold (looks more bronze to me) and my truck more resembles this one.

Yeah I cant believe they painted right over it. The truck belonged to my great uncle and he used it as a farm truck. He passed away several years ago and its been sitting in a barn on some land we own ever since. Odometer only reads 4k miles and some change but from what ive determined the motor in it isn't original. Why a different motor and paint job I'll never know.
