I guess I'm not over thinking it lol. I used bracing the firewall as one of my excuses for cutting my donor's hood up so I could smooth/cover holes up on firewall. Then when I moved the MC over some I added yet another piece of sheet metal. I now have the brake assembly extended and braced to the dash and now I can keep the original brace.
So... that enough?
