I got a new universal wiper switch..
When I was testing the old switch for ohms, it was bouncing all over..
The new switch came in but I wasnt getting the same readings...
So I hooked up both switchs to 12v and below are the readings..
Before I hook this up my question is will the new switch work?
I dont want to let the smoke out of my wiper motor if I can help it..
So heres pics of both switches and the results...

I don't know a thing about universal wiper switches of any brand.. But I can tell you this... The wiper motors on our old trucks don't depend on the switch to supply power to the motor.. Power (12 volts) isn't fed to the wiper switch. It's applied to the motor when the ignition switch is turned on.. The wiper switch is grounded to the dash, and provides a ground path to the wiper motor's hi and/or lo speed windings according to the speed selected..

Why are you trying to make a universal switch work on your truck?? Original type switches are readily available..
