You're not alone. Only thing I can think of is perhaps a very well hidden reference to the 6 lug 3/4 tons in the early GMT400 years that tend to muddy the waters in a 1/2 vs 3/4 lug count discussion. Or perhaps (and more likely), I have no idea.
