Well after getting the truck back from paint it ended up taking me about 3-4 weeks to get all the trim and bits put back on.
That included the mirrors, emblems, upper and lower moldings, hubcaps, inner door panels, etc.
A few frustrating and difficult fasteners in all of that...as many of you know, lol.
With all of that finally done and back on....it was time to license it for the spring/summer season on saturday so I'm now already on my 2nd fill up....having logged a few fun miles on it this past weekend.
Luckily most of the original trim was in pretty good, straight and bright shape so I re-used it.
I ended up replacing a few pieces that had take some parking lot dings, etc.
The paint job itself was a reasonably 'mid-range' paint....looks nice and I'm pretty happy with it.
Now, I've already got my first 'minor' scratch in the bed...because this truck is meant to be driven and (lightly) used....as the pics already show, lol.
All good
