LMCTruck makes a kit to do it too (called "custom headlights" in their catalog.) I'm using the Hella kit which, depending on your state, may or may not be street legal. They'll pass inspection here. I got them installed tonight and the light spread is way way less. Nice cut off line and approx 2x the output with similar wattage. These aren't like some of the cheap HID kits where light sprays and blinds oncoming drivers from what I can tell. Once I can drive the truck I'll do a night time comparison with the old vs the new. I have one photo of my truck on the highway at night. I'll do one in a similarly lit parking lot in a week or two. Install was th e same as changing out your sealed bulbs. No wiring changes needed. I'll probably do the HD wiring kit from LMC at some point as well.
