The linkage is above the area between the left side of the transmission hump and the gas pedal. It's up in there and tough to get to, but you can watch it and fix it if needed. Just be patient. Sometimes the end of the linkage rod pops out of the sleeve. You'll know what I'm talking about once you see it. Make sure you have a bright skinny flashlight.
