That's what i'am doing for my 4wd conversion, grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers.
It isn't hard removing the rivets. I would just take a grinder with a cutting disk and put a cut into the middle of the rivet head. Making sure the cut goes down until it's flush with face of frame. I would take my cold chisel and 2 or 3 lb. hammer and chisel the rivets off. I spent maybe 4 or 5 hours removing rivets.
