I am not aware of plans for any straps. The tank is built with relatively thick sheet metal & the angle iron is 1/4", so it's pretty stout. They have built similar tanks for other rigs that see more abuse in some weekends than mine may see in it's whole life & not had issues, so I should be good.
We are using a new GM sending unit/pump assembly - the same ones used for the 2008 model HD trucks with a 6.0L engine. Mast said the stock pump should run their motor just fine. I wanted to be sure I would be able to replace all this easily later down the road if I needed to & not have to hunt for special parts that a dealership or parts store wouldn't have available.
