I've wondered the same thing myself. I'll be needing to haul my motorcycle here soon when we move, but I've already done this mod so I don't know if I can drive it up into the back of thr truck. I had a few friends stand in the bed to see how much it would hold, and from the looks of it I think it could do 500 pounds without bottoming out to badly. It'll sag pretty good, but if you take it easy I don't think it'd be to big of a problem. Only one way to find out though
