It could be retextured possibly with a little more time and a dremel or engraver tool. I don’t think I’ll take it that far as this area is not very noticeable once installed and who knows, maybe I’ll mount a CB there!

Got the inside painted first and needed to work the repair on the front some more. Trying to get it to flatten out the damage had pulled the material forward.
