Re: Budget bed for budget AD build.
For cross member's I'm using heavy duty commercial shelf rack with the slots.. Its a u channel shape about 1x1x1. Many stores toss it when they remodel. Its seems ok for my application as tank comes close to bed. I had a pie of it and will add 3 cross rails to support the choicedek bed planks. Two pieces of bed rail welded together was my seond choice.
