I put one of the Badland 12K winches on my trailer too, and have no complains so far.
I don't use it daily, but I'll bet it's been used more in the last year and a half than 90-percent of the Warn winches I see on the front of all the Jeeps and "off road" trucks I see around here.

It's pulled three '57 1/2-ton panel trucks onto the trailer, one with two flat tires, a '59 1-ton panel, a '59 Ford pick-up, a '70 Nova with two flat tires and no front tie rods, a '62 K10 long-step, and a '54 Buick 4-door with seized rear brakes.
Oh yeah, it's also pulled my kid's Dodge Dakota and Nissan Sentra up onto it a couple times, and a fully-loaded 4-Runner heading to the scrap yard.

So given all that, I just can't say anything bad about the Badlands winch!
