68 C10 build thread...kinda.

I was always a lurker around here and finally signed on when I got my baby last summer. I never did post a build thread. I honestly don’t have much I want to do with the truck because it was pretty much perfect in my opinion when I bought it. But I’ve changed a few things on her and plan to change a few things more.

The specs on her are: basically all original, even has the dealer bumper that says “Campbell Chevrolet Company, Morillton Arkansas” if anyone has any info on that dealership please tell me. factory drivetrain, 307, SM465 4-speed, and 12 bolt 4.11 rear end. 75,000 original miles. Basically a no options truck except for the side trim. Glove box tag is completely legible. She is a longbed fleet-side and proud of it! Original paint and patina, with donor fenders and tailgate sometime in the past. It has a 4” and 6” drop, 2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch springs in the front and 6 inch springs in the rear.. And Corvette style rallys, 15x8 on the front and 15x10 on the rear sporting 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 on the rear. The previous owner added a 4 barrel carburetor, original style power steering pump, and disk brakes with the drop spindles.

Pictures of the very first day I saw her for sale along route 68 in between Ravenswood and Parkersburg on June 6th 2017. I purchased her 3 days later, would’ve been sooner if I could’ve got the money together faster haha.
