How much rust to replace panels

So Ive got what might seem like a silly question but Im going to ask anyhow.

Ive got a 72 c10 that Im currently restoring, the truck is pretty rust free with a couple exceptions on the cab. From what I can tell the kickpanel where it meets the floor and part of the channel between the inner and outer rocker has some surface rust. Its still solid just looks less than spectacular, but this wont really be seen, and I plan to have my truck dustless blasted. So this rust should be gone, and I should in theory be left with just pitted metal ready for good epoxy paint. So I guess my question is should this be replaced, or would it be fine to leave? My gut instinct tells me to replace it but at the same time I second guess myself and wonder if it really is necessary if its going to be blasted.
