Need Momentum

I bought a 67 a few months back and paid up for it. I was thinking it was a fair deal with me having to get it shipped and with what was represented, etc.

Same-ol-story...

Anyway, once here I begin to dissect the truck. Find that it is more of a rat rod than what I had hoped. The bondo is SO THICK in areas I decided to go ahead and break the truck down (side back door had at least an inch in parts). It is a no rust truck so I keep telling myself it is worth it, it is worth it. Needs a new dash due to holes (for LED lights?), needs seats as they are modern. It goes on.

I started collecting parts. 3 seats, new upholstery, seat belts, dash, new wiring harness, blah blah blah.

I then decide if I am going to do it, do it right from every angle. Well, that's gonna cost ya! How to save some coin? Find a parts truck with pieces I know I will need (I.E. some of my glass has scratches in it, etc.), which I did. The parts truck was 4 hours away. It was not too cheap either and it IS a rust bucket. So now I have 2 67's kinda in pieces.

So, that was a bit over 3 months ago when I stopped doing anything with it. I put the Burb in the other garage and just started it from time to time. No more driving it, anything. In the shop is the RV and tools, etc. No trucks right now.

I need to get my momentum going again.

I can do most of the work in house. I have every tool I think I will ever need and a shop to do it in.

I am not going to let this thing sit forever, I refuse to. This is not my first suburban. I have had over 10 in my years from a 54 (Carry All) all the way to a new one.

Even the 67 C10 SWB is just sitting as well right now. I do drive it and keep it up and maintained. I need to sell it to make this project a bit more bearable

Uhhg, rant off.

The pin stripe is the burb. The color match was purely unintentional...
