Dwyne, as far as I know there was never a 2 bbl 6 cyl factory offering.You can visit Cliffords performance for a 4bbl intake that uses a 390CFM Holley.That upgrade will probably run around $500.00 new.For around another $250.00 you can get a header.
6cyl. performance ain't as cheap as the 'ole smallblock as you can see.
If time is a factor, swap in the complete 6 and hit the swap meets for a manifold and carb. I see a guy here in the Atlanta area that carries a lot of 6 performance stuff but it may be harder to locate where you are.
inlinersinternational.com is the place to ask 6 cyl performance questions.Maybe someone over ther will have some used stuff or a better deal.
