Compressor fo overload bags

Overload bags on my lowered Suburban. I like to keep 15-20 lbs in them just because it rides so much better with just a little air in them. Occasionally I do carry a load or tow with it and add more but it's not that often.

It currently is manual fill and of course leaks down over time. I am looking at adding a compressor on a frame rail and for my low volume air usage wondering if I can get by without an air tank and just use the compressor to fill the bags? Obviously the volume of air I need is small but not sure if the volume of the typical compressor is adequate.

Have tossed around the idea of putting a pressure switch in the line so it keeps the bags at the pressure I like. Then putting a manual switch inside for when I need more air for a load I could turn on the pump and raise the pressure. Am I missing something?
