The tailgate needed some attention with some of the paint peeling off in places. Looks as though some of the areas were never scuffed to make the paint bite. Went over the tailgate with a DA sander and then filled a few areas on each end that had spot weld dents. Tailgate is ready for some primer and paint. Also had to repair the handle linkage that attaches to the release handle and lubricate it. The black scribble marks are where I marked areas that needed attention before painting. The tailgate was the only body part I found that was not the original color, came from an Ochre-colored truck.
