Those were factory installed on the small blocks (350s only?) to help cool the manifolds. They ran hotter with the emission controls working corrctly and apparently the air flow reduced cracking. Somewhere I have a passing mention in a service or training bulletin. Most of the time they are missing or bent back.

If you are in picture mode some of the evap system, idle solenoid and related harness would be appreciated. its so nice to see a truck correct in so many ways.
