Re: 71-72 rear spring hangers on 69 frame
Bolt your springs on your hangers and line up the rear most hangers with existing holes in the frame as those don't change through the years. Go ahead and bolt those in and jack up the frame until you can position the front hangers below the frame. Then lower the frame on the front hangers. That should tell you where they should be.
Here is a pic of the two front hanger styles for the rear.
