Thanks for the reply and website Nail, it's very useful. As for the trans, I'm going to take everyone's advice and go with the overdrive. But again, when it comes to transmission, I have no knowledge. This guy here is selling a 94 700r4 out of a chevy 1500, He said he would take $275. Is that the trans I'm looking for and is it a good price? It's going to be paired up with a 350 sbc.
