step 1 you prob dont need the drop pitman arm for a 2inch lift kit . there has been lots of debate on this over the years and stephen from offroad design did a huge info post on ck5.com about this .

you WANT some down slope from the pitman arm down to the axle steering arm . if its level or nose low this will create some problems.

and #2 as you said the HEAVY side lugs can play hell on some combos of vehicle . see it a lot over the years . if its just a little bit of kiss then keep a eye on it at full turn's . if its a lot then it might be time for a wheel spacer . but make sure you have good lugnut thread engagement after install of a spacer .
