How would you get in theire with a brush without removing the end caps?

Thanks for the information....I have never palyed with one of these and didnt know where to begin.
The rocker shaft is 2 pieces and connects in the middle by the oiling tube from the head. The center end is open so DO NOT remove the end plugs you don't need to. The picture shows the pieces. If you leave the shafts on the truck and remove the end caps you will only get to the first bolt and no further. You must take the rocker sets off the truck remove the bolts to get a brush down the bore of the shaft. You could leave the rockers on the shafts as pictured. The rockers are left, right, intake and exhaust so there are 4 different rockers on the shaft and they need to go back on in order.
