I initially had same problem on my lcf after replacement of turn signal switch and bearing assembly.does your column have c clip at top bearing? Then loosen 2 bolts under column,at bottom bearing mine had spring, I loosened collar slid up snug pressing top and bottom bearing s in proper place. Hope this helps.
