I think there's more of us that are into this look than I thought. I like the louver's, but I don't think that is what I am gonna do. Heck, I don't even have to get that cowl induction hood, now. It just wouldn't look right.

My plan is for my truck to be finished, but look like it isn't. By that, I mean the paint will be done over all the necessary bodywork, only it will look like primer, or close to it. John Deere implement black is one color that was mentioned to me, as having the "look". My truck will have all the body work needed to paint it any color, but I'm depending on the flames to be the focal point. There was a Rod & Custom magazine (recently) that had a '46 Ford Tudor, that was dark blue, but with the flames that I want. The owner did the car up, using nothing made after '58. Those flames are what I want.

Now, all I gotta do is get it scheduled into the body shop that I have chosen.
