Ok so here is another question I think will really help me.

1.Does anyone have original factory in dash- air conditioning in there 1964-66 C10 truck now and converted to a vintage air system? If so, Which one did you use, and how does it REALLY work? Air cold? Blow hard? What factory controls did you use, if any... and which ones did you not use? And would you recommend it?

2. Does anyone have a original factory in-dash Air conditioning in the 1964-1966 C10 truck now that you rebuilt the original system but converted it over to 134A? Original compressor? Sandin compressor? different condenser? I understand LT1 did. How did it work? I was thinking if I did do that.... I would use a new condenser and Sandin compressor. Thoughts...? I really need to here from anyone who actually did this already and is actively using it and especially in a warm environment. Phoenix is VERY hot in the summer... I want my AC to actually work....

Please let me know what you have actually done and how it is working for you!
