Alarm deactivation
I need help! I bought an 88 GMC K1500 that has a PO installed alarm. I don't have the PO's number. It was having some starting problems so I took off all of the battery cables to clean them. When I tried to put them back on the alarm goes off. Is there a generic way to deactivate an alarm system. Not only does the horn blare and the lights flash now it won't start! I'm good with ripping the piece of crap out!!! But I'm hoping for a quicker fix...
