Yep that's right. Urea is dried cow pee. It's fertilizer, high in nitrogen. When I cleared snow I spread Urea pellets from the farm co-op rather than salt, so as to not harm the concrete the way salt does. I guess salt dries out concrete and urea moisturizes it?

it's actually synthetic urea, completely made in a lab....i would have to think twice about putting real cow piss on my hands....i'm sure my mutts would love it if i did though
