Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

When I bought it, it was a REAL cab & chassis... meaning- all I got was the cab and the chassis. ALot happened, and to make a long story short, I found myself without wheels, driving the wife's Cavalier. So, I kept the front from a Suburban I was scrapping and the bed from a truck I was also scrapping, parts from a few others... and bam! One ugly truck.

She does have the engine from my big crew project, so when you lift the hood, the clean motor kinda looks out of place. I have to finish wiring it and convert the tanks back to carb pickups, then she's ready to roll. The cab has surprisingly little rust other than the doors, so I'll replace those junk body parts as I go. I sure do like the ugly girl though.

Immediate plans- get it running!
Future plans-
Rear disc swap & Hydroboost
Dually conversion with shackle flip-n-switch
4x4 conversion with 52" springs
Maybe some new body panels
Who needs a car when they make crew cab trucks?
