Was your engine originally red? I wasn't aware that the Jimmy's had different color engines. I assumed that they were orange just like the Blazers. Here's a pic of an original 20K mile '71 Jimmy engine bay...and it looks pretty orange to me...though it may have been re-touched. I'm sure it would look cool regardless, but would be interested to learn more about this. Experts please chime in.
