The red on red will look sharp. I almost went with artillery wheels on the '49. If you used the Belltech drop leafs, they have a very nice ride. And the blue in red will be the bee's knees!

While I agree the bolt being put in that direction is a pain, I believe it was done for safety measures, that way if the nut ever falls off, you don't have to worry about the spring coming loose.
