1970 Chevy pickup C20
Some time ago I bought a 1970 pickup with automatic transmission. The startmotor made a strange noise. Today I took a look and found out the transmission is from June 1972. AC Delco has different starter motors for these two years. 1970 is type 336-1836 and 1972 is type 336-1822. What's the difference between these 2 type of starters, can anybody help me?
