there is a show on youtube and motortrend tv called enginemasters. they did a dyno comparison of several styles of mechanical fans vs electrical fans. I have the same fan you have. they tested it and that very fans parasitic draw was 30 hp! no joke man. I'm switching to an electric and I suggest you do the same while its easy and accessible.
