Hi. New guy to Forum. Replacing 67 I6 with 283 and 3 on tree with 700R4. Tried I6 perches with bolt thru the perch urethane mounts. Was good until trying to put in 700R4. Hitting top of trans behind the bell at firewall transitions to the hump. Back of trans wont go up high enough to sit on trans crossmember. Need to know the part no. of the smallblock V8 perches. Saw some by Key Parts SKU-0849-743? There is also some avail at Jegs SKU-0849-742 that are said to work. Need proper part. Thanks.
