2x4s and 4x4s are both different animals. You won't be able to use any of the 2x4 crossmember parts on the 4x4 chassis. The 292 uses a different frame mounts than the v-8 does. The short of it is if you are useing a 4x4 chassis, and v-8 engine then you need the v-8 engine crossmember for a 4x4 and not a 2x4. I believe that the rubber motor mounts are the same though.
