I would say no more than $2,000.00 even on a good day. If the Suburban is in great shape other than missing an engine/trans, it's great for you being they are not wanted anyway and will save a few hours off wrenching to pull them for your Cummings swap.

A buddy just purchased a 1986 K20 in GREAT shape (missing the engine) for $4,000.00 and it came with $7,000.00 dollars worth of N.O.S. (retail)parts to restore it. I gave him first chance at it, and he took it.
