This is the tube style that is popular and very easy to install. http://www.jegs.com/i/Trans-Dapt/969/4840/10002/-1 Probably the simplest setup to put a V8 in an early pickup. I've used several of them over the years.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
