What kind of power are you looking to make? Goodwrench 350 engines are really good value, you can add a cam and better heads to make decent power. My truck goes pretty decent with that engine. I have ram horn manifolds and a performer rpm intake with a quadrajet 4 barrell and all emission hooked up. My engine was 1550$ shipped to my garage from summit...also with no core charge.
