Here is the factory breather setup for '67. It is an open breather system (vents to the atmosphere instead of the air cleaner). I'm not sure what year they went to the closed system:

Here is where the PCV (yellow arrow) valve attaches to the carb base plate. The original valve screwed in the carb base plate and had a right angle fitting on it. I could not locate an original type valve so I adapted an inline valve using some brass fittings. The hose runs to a fitting on the block behind the distributor.




This is the location of the fitting:




Here is the canister inside the lifter valley. I believe it acts as a baffle:




The oil filler cap acts as a filter. Inside the cap is a material the looks like very coarse steel wool (the kind that comes in thin strips):
