since I joined this forum, I have had difficulty posting pictures from my iPhone that are in portrait mode. the upload always flips them to landscape. Today I did some experimenting, saving images as jpg, jpeg, png. They all behaved the same way...looks good on my computer, upload 'em and they get shifted to landscape. I even flipped the images prior to upload, but that didn't help either.
I finally found something that works for me - I just saved them to GIF format. Not sure if it's the smaller file size that GIF stores them or waht, but it did the trick for me. Here's the proof:
