after his last rock, dawg took off downstream towards the main channel
by the time i caught up with him, 12 yr old dawg had caught his birthday fish, and it was a nice one. he got a chinook, which is kinda rare right now, a real early one. they usually hit the river around mid march-ish..
all in all i think dawg enjoyed his birthday at the river today, good on the 'ol boy
