Most shops won't waste the time to dyno a trans, unless they built it, and you install it, and it won't work. That's why most shops don't have one. If you drop the pan, and there is less than a handful of shavings, it's probably not any good! Some of the best junkyard trans I've ever used were full of shavings and pieces of random paper?
